Short description

Dynamic Rock is a friendly, community-driven indoor climbing centre in Clydach, Swansea, offering 23 lead lines (50+ routes), auto-belays, and a small bouldering room. It’s run with a focus on accessibility, social climbing, and development for new and experienced climbers.  

🍽 Food & Drink — Balcony café overlooks the climbing wall, serving Gower coffee, snacks, cakes and vegan treats.

Gym

• Lead climbing walls (23 lines, easy to pro level)  

• Top-rope / in-situ anchors  

• Two auto-belays for solo or unroped climbing  

• Bouldering room / small bouldering wall  

• Training and strength kit: regular programming & community sessions  

• Courses & taster sessions: “Taster” climbing session costs £17.50 for 1–1.5 hours (equipment included)  

• Accessibility / inclusive climbing: tailored sessions for different needs, including wheelchair users & those with disabilities.  

Membership / Pricing

Pay-as-you-go / Day Session

• General entry: £12.00 for a day  

• Peak / concession: according to UKClimbing, adult peak = £10.50, concession = £9.50  

• Taster session (1 hr or 1.5 hr): £17.50 (min. 2 people) with all gear included.  

Membership / Pass Options

• Adult Membership: £29 / month — includes unlimited entry + kit hire + guest passes.  

• Junior Membership: £42 / month — includes NICAS / Young Climbers Club weekly plus unlimited entry + kit hire.

From Oct–Mar (winter times) (last entry one hour before closing):
