Vertical Chill Ice Wall (Covent Garden, London) — Tower House, 10‑12 Southampton Street, London WC2E 7HA

Vertical Chill is a real indoor ice climbing wall, located in the basement of Ellis Brigham’s Covent Garden store. Climbers can use ice axes and crampons, belayed by instructors, to climb an 8‑metre high refrigerated wall that simulates real alpine ice. 

🍽 Food & Drink — No café, because it is inside a retail / mountain‑store environment; snack‑store features at Ellis Brigham. 

🅿 Parking — Street parking / nearby public transport (Covent Garden).

Gym

• 8 m tall ice wall (‑5°C to ‑7°C)  
• Variety from slab to overhang climbing  
• Instructor-led belay / supervised climb sessions  
• Equipment hire: axes, crampons, helmets, harnesses, gloves, outer clothing  

Membership / Day‑Session

Pay-as-you-go / Session

• “Learn to climb” (session + gear + instruction): £50 / hour  
• “Climb + Hire” (session + gear + belay): £35 / hour  
• “Turn up & Climb” (session + belay, no gear): £25 / hour
