Short description

Located inside Harlech & Ardudwy Leisure Centre, The Rock is a climbing facility with an 11‑metre wall built by Dream Climbing Walls. It includes both lead / top-rope routes and a dedicated bouldering room.

Gym / Climbing

• 11 m high wall with 28+ lines (lead / top-rope).  
• Dedicated bouldering area.  
• Over 56 routes, from F4 to F7c (according to UKClimbing directory).  
• Equipment hire and tuition available.  

Membership / Pricing

• Day use / climbing wall admission: ~£5‑£7 (UKClimbing listing)  
• Competency test / induction required for climbing, as noted in directory descriptions.  

Opening Times

Monday & Wednesday: 10:00 – 20:00

Tuesday: till 22:00 

Thursday: from 14:00

Friday: till around 21:00

Sunday: 10:00 – 15:00  

Note: As of July 2024, Harlech & Ardudwy Leisure Centre announced that it is closing its doors.
