Brookes Climb is the premier indoor climbing centre in Oxfordshire, located within Brookes Sport at Oxford Brookes University. The facility offers a mix of roped climbing, top-ropes, auto-belays and bouldering, with extensive climbing space suitable for beginners through advanced climbers. The centre also runs courses, coaching, National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme (NICAS) sessions, group sessions and youth programmes.

Gym / Climbing Wall

 • Over 900 m² of climbing space including three bouldering zones and a top-out boulder. 

 • Up to 22 lead lines, 12 top-roped lines and three auto-belays for roped climbing. 

 • Bouldering and training features including circuit board, campus boards and training boards. 

 • Courses for beginners through advanced including NICAS, personal coaching and instructor led sessions. 

Membership / Entry / Pricing

 • Climbing & Bouldering Session (Pay As You Go): Adult ~£11.00; Under 18 ~£8.00. 

 • Equipment Hire: Rock boot hire ~£4; chalk/accessories available. 

 • Climbing Courses: Youth NICAS sessions (~£14.50+) and structured courses from ~£50–£170 depending on type. 

 • Membership Options: Monthly Direct Debit Summit (~£30–£40) and Summit Off-Peak (~£18–£22); annual options also available. 

 • Summit members include access to climbing, fitness classes and gym facilities (full access) — Off-Peak gives weekday daytime access. 

Opening Times

Weekdays: Early morning until late evening (typical ~07:00 – 22:30). 

Weekends: Morning to early evening (~09:00 – 20:00).
