Kilnworx is a community climbing centre with a variety of climbing disciplines — including top rope, lead, sport, traversing and bouldering — catering to beginners and advanced climbers. There is also a small cafe area.

Gym

• Top rope, lead and sport climbing routes across a varied set of walls.

• Traversing wall and additional climbing features.

• Bouldering rooms and other climbing spaces.

• Abseil stations and slackline activities.

Membership / Prices

• Members – Adult £8, Junior £7, Under 6 £3.

• Non‑members – Adult £10, Junior £9, Under 6 £3.

• Lifetime membership – £20 (includes first climb and future savings).

• Pass options: Weekly £15, Monthly £40, 3‑month £100, 6‑month £190, Annual £360.

• Equipment hire available (harness, belay devices, shoes, quickdraws, rope).

Opening times

Monday to Thursday: 16:30 – 22:00 (with earlier access possible by arrangement) 

Friday: 16:30 – 20:00

Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 – 18:00

Last entry typically 90 minutes before closing
