Sport Lancaster provides an indoor climbing wall and bouldering cave as part of its sports centre facilities, open to members and pay-as-you-play users.

🅿️ Parking: On-site / campus parking (or visitor parking per university guidance). 

Gym

• Lead/top-rope climbing wall: 8 – 8.5 m high with 17 belay lines.  
• Bouldering cave for low-height problems (bouldering only).  
• Bouldering, top-rope climbing, teaching space & belay-line routes.  

Membership / Entry

• “Pay As You Play” climbing-wall tickets (single or multi-entry) for non-members.  
• Memberships (Sport-membership / Rock & Racket memberships) that include unlimited access to sports-centre facilities, including climbing wall.  

Access Requirements

• To use the wall unsupervised, climbers must complete a competency assessment (belaying, knot-tying, safety skills) — after which they may climb without supervision.  

Opening times

Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 22:00  

Saturday: 08:30 – 18:00  

Sunday: 09:30 – 18:00
