ROF 59 Climbing Centre is a large indoor climbing and activity complex — top‑rope, lead and auto‑belay walls, bouldering, speed wall and a full leisure‑centre setup for climbers of all levels.

🅿 Parking: parking available at Aycliffe Business Park. 

 

Gym

 

  • Lead / top‑rope / auto‑belay walls — up to 21 m high, 26 m long, many climbing lines / routes.  
  • Bouldering area and adventure‑style walls (child‑ & beginner‑friendly) plus speed wall & training facilities (campus board / training boards / hangboard / mix) for strength and training.  
  • Gear hire, instruction for new climbers / auto‑belay users, and variety of route difficulties (easy through advanced), regular route‑setting.  

 

 

Membership / Entry

 

  • Standard entry (non‑member) as listed: day/session climb from £5.50 up to ~£9.00 depending on age/time.  
  • Membership / pass‑options / price structure exists (members, concessions, passes, hire gear) — details published on gym’s info pages.  

 

 

Opening times

 

Monday–Friday: 10:00 – 22:00  

Saturday: 09:30 – 20:00  

Sunday: 09:30 – 18:00
