An indoor climbing facility offering a 15 metre lead/top‑rope/speed‑climbing wall, auto‑belays, a large bouldering area, and regularly changed routes for all abilities.

🅿 Parking / Access: Pay‑&‑display car‑park at the Sports & Wellness Hub; step‑free access from car park into building; accessible toilets & changing facilities. 

Gym / Climbing Wall

• 15 metre high climbing wall (lead/top‑rope/speed walls) including overhangs, auto‑belays, mixed‑wall routes.  
• Bouldering area — 296 sqm bouldering wall, with crash‑mats, training boards, and problems for beginners to advanced climbers.  
• Additional speed‑climbing facility: 2 × 15m speed walls.  

Membership / Access / Session Options

• Pay‑as‑you‑go / “Introduction sessions / Taster” — for first‑time users or beginners (auto‑belay / top‑rope) including equipment hire.  
• Regular membership / passes for frequent users.  
• Lessons, beginner courses, coaching, junior sessions (for ages 5–17), and junior‑club membership options.  

Opening Times

(Climbing Centre – 2025 general schedule)

Off‑peak: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 09:15 – 16:00; Wed: 07:30 – 16:00; Sat & Sun: 17:00 – 20:00 (term‑time)  

Peak: Mon–Fri: 16:00 – 22:00; Sat & Sun: 08:00 – 17:00
