Quay Climbing Centre is a large indoor climbing centre in Exeter — offering roped climbing (lead/top‑rope), auto‑belay, bouldering and a Clip‑n‑Climb arena, suitable for beginners to experienced climbers.

Gym

 

  • Leads/top‑rope climbing walls (walls from ~7 m up to ~14–15 m)  
  • Auto‑belay walls and Clip‑n‑Climb arena with many challenges for all ages, via auto‑belay system  
  • Bouldering area including “boulder caves” for low‑height problems — accessible to climbers without ropes  
  • Training wall, teaching zone, route‑setting for a variety of climbing grades; decent variety for beginners to experienced climbers.  

 

Membership / Entry

 

  • Public session (non‑member guest) — standard climb (off‑peak) starts from £9.00; peak climbs at £11.00.  
  • Monthly membership (standard) listed at £39.50 on public directory listing.  

 

Opening times

 

Monday–Friday: 10:00–22:00  

Saturday & Sunday: 09:00–20:00
